Vincent van Gogh - Vincent Willem van Gogh (March 30, 1853 â€“ July 29, 1890) was a Dutch painter, generally considered one of the greatest painters in European art history. He produced all of his work (some 900 paintings and 1100 drawings) during a period of only ten years before he became mentally ill and committed suicide.

Theo van Gogh (art dealer) - Theodorus van Gogh (May 1 1857-January 25 1891), best known by his nickname "Theo", was the brother of Vincent van Gogh. He was born in Zundert, in the province of Brabant in The Netherlands, son of Theodorus van Gogh and Anna Cornelia Carbentus.
